Toronto Trades Conor Casey to Colorado

Mo just can't stop! He trades Conor Casey to Colorado for Canadian draft pick Riley O'Neill and an allocation ($). It's no secret that Casey wanted to return home to Colorado, so good for Mo to send him home. Colorado is quickly becoming a force in the West. They've got a great home-field advantage and tremendous depth in midfield and forward, but not defense (except for Pablo as cover).

This situation does bring to light the stupid MLS policy of allocating returning National Team players to the next team in line for allocations (see Soccer by Ives for this crazy process). I believe that more national team players would come home if they had the option to choose where they would play, especially if they were given the option to play for their hometown/state club.
